Framing

Best for Original Artworks on Canvas

When you invest in an original artwork on canvas, each piece is professionally stretched by hand with care and attention to detail. Your artwork will arrive ready to hang, with a cord attached to the back — so whether you choose to frame it or not, it will look beautiful on your wall from the moment it arrives.

Framing is a personal choice and not essential for display. It simply comes down to the look and feel you’d like to create in your space.

If you do choose to add a frame, all my original canvas artworks are framed in a ‘float frame’ style. As the name suggests, a float frame gives the illusion that the artwork is ‘floating’ within the frame without touching it. This subtle shadow gap highlights the edges of the canvas and adds a sense of depth and dimension, while keeping the focus on the artwork itself.

Each float frame is handcrafted from solid timber by professional framers on the Gold Coast, Australia.

  • Frame depth: approximately 5cm deep
  • Artwork is floated with a 5mm space between the canvas and the frame to create a beautiful shadow line

Please note: If you choose to add a frame, the price displayed on the artwork detail page will update to include the cost of the frame, so you can see exactly what your framed piece will be.

When you select an original canvas artwork, you’ll see the option to add a frame on the artwork’s detail page. The frame colour available has been carefully matched to each piece, ensuring the finish enhances and accentuates the artwork’s tones and textures perfectly.
